yeah you can. i have smoke battles with rommel in spawn sometimes. normally a smoke hit does 1dmg i think. a headshot smoke does between 1 and 3

Yeah I've killed one bad guy with a hand grenade hit, one bad guy with a rifle gren, and one teammate with a rifle gren, now.

Never done anything like that in DoD, but in CS:S it was down to me vs. another guy on cs_office, I heard him running around somewhere so I strafed past a doorway and threw a smoke nade right as I crossed the doorframe, hit the guy square in face and killed him, funniest CS:S moment for me

I pwn with the carbine...it has plenty of ammo in my opinion, I try for at least one kill per clip if not 2.
