Who cares? They announced the iTV months ago, then in this keynote they re-announced it with the new name (Apple)TV and no one seemed to take any notice. I hope they keep going with this new scheme, which in my opinion is sexier than the "i" craze.
"But then an even greater force emerged, “the un,” and “the un” un-Nazi’d the world, forever!"
p.s. Cisco might to the iPhone trademark after all,
which would explain why Jobs is spoiling for a fight. At the very least
they're consistently using the apple logo to the left of 'iPhone' as a
differentiation.
That gives them another avenue of attack (it's not iPhone, it's 'Apple
iPhone',) along with the 'family' argument (iMac, iLife, iWork, iPod, i...)
and the fact have been using the iPhone name for other
products over the years (including VOIP phones,) and Cisco hasn't
defended the trademark. If you don't defend it, you lose it.
