I can't say that I've checked, but I've updated to the most recent bios. Granted, I did this after installing the drivers.
Installed
The same situation happened when Nuisance used the drivers provided on the Asus CD.
In the bios, it still sees all of the usb devices (and powers them). Once it boots into windows, no power is provided to the usb devices (and possibly other things) and they cease to function.
