The one and only thing that really turned me on about this device is that you could pay a one time fee for unlimited Internet access for a month. This could come in handy when traveling for example. BUT the size isn't ideal for travel as much as the iPhone or Touch would be (not as easy to put in your pocket while walking around town). I would always have anxiety that the screen is going to get cracked moving it around (and it's much easier to crack a glass screen that size than on a smaller device).
I honestly think they should do a similar setup for the next generation of the Touch. I can handle browsing and reading email just fine on that size (hell I have been doing fine for 2 years). And just paying $15 for a month of Internet would be worth it on the road.

"But then an even greater force emerged, “the un,” and “the un” un-Nazi’d the world, forever!"
Agreed, I understand requiring a data plan for the iPhone and Blackberry, but for like netbooks, data plans suck. Mostly cuz of the contract. We groan every time a customer comes in to get an aircard or netbook because they're like boomerangs, they always come back.
Prepaid plans are great for these, and it'd be cool to have that for the itouch too.
