BFBC2 fixes
I figure sence so many of us are playing or trying to play BFBC2, we should put up our own little support thread. If you've had a problem and found a possible fix, plz post it here for others to try.
Here's a few that I've found.
Running ati cards. EA suggest running ver. 9.7 drivers. They don't seem to have a problem. (from ea)
Nvidia cards. Locking up with pounding sound. If running PhysX, disable it in the Nvidia control pannel.
Log in but no server list. Find the bfbc2 updater in the game folder and run it. If it won't run then disable firewall and try again. Turn firewall back on and see if it is in the exceptions list. If not, add it. Also may fix other issues. (from ea)
Crash and reboot all by it’s self . If you’ve made changes in the bios to get ram to run at a certain speed, set back to default. This one took some figuring out. Since, the 1066 ram I’m running has been working fine. I did have to manually set ratio, timing and voltage to get it to run at 1066. System default is 800. Reset bios to default and so far so good.

The reason I talk to myself is that I'm the only one whose answers I accept.
