Hopefully most of you guys have heard about this already, but some shit went down with PSN and hackers managed to get a shit ton of people's personal information. Names, birthdays, addresses, but most importantly, CREDIT CARD INFORMATION AND USERNAME/PASSWORDS. Unfuckingbelievable.

Apparently some people (posters on reddit so could be fake...) have already had email accounts hacked (using same password, etc) or had unauthorized transactions on the card they had set up on PSN.

I know what I'll be doing tomorrow... Going to every fucking website I can think of where I had to create a login and changing the password and any security questions, and cancelling and reordering a new debit and credit card, no idea which one I've used on PSN, or if it was still set up for it or if it even matters. Also checking my credit report. Better to be safe than sorry.

Thanks Sony, and fuck you!! Now I probably won't ever buy anything from PSN again, unless they do something similar to iTunes gift cards you can buy at the store. Wasn't planning on it anyway, but definitely not getting an Xperia Play or a NGP. I'm done with Sony as much as I can help it, this is such a massive fuck up that I don't know how I could feel safe using their products and services anymore.

Yup, i heard about this. good thing that my CC is expired on the account, yey. Its just SAD, and fucked up. Also NESS they do Sell PSN Card value demoninations are $20, $50

Super Crazy..

I have already been fallowing it, plus just got my emails from them about the breach.
Luckily I have never given them my credit card number... few...
Hope this gets cleared up soon, was just about to give Netflix a try.

Only thing I'm a little angry at is I can't get online with my ps3. Most of my information on PSN is useless.

You can get online with your PS3.

You just can't use the PSN network. the browser and networking functions still work.
