This site hurts my eyes

Hey, Doom, I still check the forums at least weekly. Or I did, until this re-skin. I really loved how dark the old forums were and how well text color stood out. I also found it really easy to discern new posts, which I find hard to do right now. It's partially because I recently suffered from infections under both my eyelids due to complications from flashburn, but I really had a hard time with the new site even before that.

Is there any easy way to flop this bright white around towards something more soothing? if not, I'll find a Firefox plugin somewhere. Just thought I'd ask first.

Yeah I think Doom had posted somewhere saying he had updated to a newer version of phpBB and it's a little different, and doesn't know how to do the skin. I don't know how either...

Is it very difficult to load skins for this? I found one that's a little cleaner and has a color editor that you can use before downloading to change the color:
