so if i go to the hardware manager and select updating for my video card, it might get an update that helps my gaming experience?

*UPDATE*
I've reinstalled Vista again, mostly to show my sister what Vista really looks like, she has a POS Gateway running Vista basic.
So I have installed all the latest drivers and what not and ran the SDK Base Stress Test again.
A 17% increase in FPS over the last time I ran the test in February.
At the 'recommended settings' - 72.87FPS
At the settings I run all my games at - 76.42FPS
I only ran the XP test at the settings I use in game (see above) - 98.97FPS a 11% increase from the last XP test I did.
A 23% gap between the two OS's, this gap has closed some...The previous gap was 29%.
