New server + New phpBB ver = problems
Hi All -
I'm in the middle of moving most of my sites to another hosting provider. In doing so I noticed that the forums were WAY out of date, so I decided to update them before the move. New isn't always so great as I have experienced w/ this new version of phpBB. I can't remember how long it's been since we had spam on the old boards, but right after the update we started to get hammered. I'm just not allowing new people to join because I can't find a way to keep them from registering and posting.
Also, some of you may have noticed some recent posts that were posted are missing. I had some DNS issues so I lost a couple days from the previous backed up database.
Happy New Year!

I hope this is not a sign of how the rest of year is going to go.
The reason I talk to myself is that I'm the only one whose answers I accept.
