READ BEFORE POSTING TO BE UNBANNED
Before you even think about posting to be unbanned, post the following info:
Ingame Name: (example: Death)
Steam ID: (example: 0:1:349578)
Approximent Date & Time: (example: May 37, 2005 4:30 pm)
Possible reason for Ban: (example: Fowl language, being a asstard, Team killing, Team wounding, Shooting in Spawn, Throwing nades in spawn or being a total jackass...)
Post this info or just kiss your a$$ goodbye....

The only people who should be posting in this section, are the person requesting to be unbanned and POW admins.
All other remarks and comments by anyone else are not necessary and unwelcome.

Not sure where else to post this so I will post it here.
Suppose a player is posting to plead their case to be unbanned, and you (referring to non-admins) happen to be one of the players that was TK'ed, or was present to view the infraction that resulted in the ban. Would it be acceptable to post further details in their 'unban me' thread if, for example, they are saying they accidentally dropped a nade in a swarm of teammates or something, when you were there and clearly saw that it was not an accident?

Once an admin has made the call to ban, there should be no other discussions. Most of the time the banning admin steps forward and responds to the request to be unbanned. If for some reason no one seems to know anything about the incident or reason for the ban and you can shed some light on it, then I think a post is appropriate.
What we started to run into was people giving their opinions on what should be done about people asking to be unbanned or making comments that turned unban me threads into flame wars.
We make mistakes and sometimes give people another chance - this is why we have this area.
